El pasado fin de semana, el piloto mallorquín Albert Coll, presentó en el Restaurante SUSHICLUB de Palma, sus planes deportivos para esta temporada 2012. Albert vuelve al Campeonato de Baleares de karting, y al Trofeo Mallorca. El piloto de la Escuderia Mallorca Competició, competirá en un total de ocho carreras.

Albert, sigue contando con sus habituales patrocinadores como OXIDOC, SUSHICLUB, GRUAUTO, Retols Vila, y el Circuito Mallorca Renn Arena, que vuelven una vez más a apoyar al joven piloto mallorquín. El único objetivo, para el piloto y su equipo es proclamarse por cuarta vez Campeón de Baleares de karting, para ello, Albert ha llegado a un acuerdo con uno de los equipos de karting más competitivos y victoriosos del panorama nacional, MarlonKart, distribuidor oficial para España, de los conocidos chasis CRG, se encargará de llevar a Albert hasta la primera posición del Campeonato de Baleares de karting 2012.

El piloto mallorquín contará esta temporada con el apoyo del Centro Casamayor para "poner a punto" su cuerpo y estar preparado para una temporada intensa de competición.
El cambio a la categoría Superbikes supone un gran esfuerzo físico al disputarse dos carreras en cada meeting y con un total de 28 carreras es muy importante una buena forma física y mental.
David Salom: "Actualmente estoy recibiendo un tratamiento multidisciplinar por parte de Francisco Parra (terapeuta y director del Centro Casamayor), que consiste en flexibilizar mi cuerpo, oxigenarlo, tonificarlo, fortalecerlo, tener más resistencia, y equilibrar todas mis articulaciones, con un trato muy personal y efectivo a la hora de competir.
He descubierto una nueva forma de mejorar mi estado físico y mental y me ha sorprendido una nueva medicina desconocida para millones de personas, denominada Medicina Biológica. Que, por lo que he podido comprobar en mi propio cuerpo tiene una efectividad del 100% tanto para el tratamiento del deportista como para el tratamiento de un familiar mío diagnosticado de celiaquía, y que sorprendentemente el Dr. Cuenca (médico biólogo) ha hecho posible tal milagro. Y, por lo que tengo entendido tiene casos de todo tipo.

Lycamobile-backed Indian racer targets strong results in 2012

India’s Parthiva Sureshwaren will return to the 2012 FIA Formula Two Championship after renewing his sponsorship partnership with mobile network provider Lycamobile.

The Chennai-born driver joined F2 in 2010, and after a solid start at Silverstone and Marrakech he scored his best result of the year at Monza, finishing 10^th in race two to earn his maiden points finish. He went on to challenge for the points on several other occasions, notably finishing 12^th at Zolder and 11^th at Portimão.

Last season he became a regular top 15 finisher with impressive drives at the final two rounds of Monza and Barcelona, as well as narrowly missing out on a points finish at Brands Hatch after working his way through the field.

Prior to competing in F2, Parthiva established a reputation as one of his country’s leading talents after success in a variety of national championships earned him a call to represent his country in the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport.

Sureshwaren said: “I am really happy to return to Formula Two after gaining a lot of experience in the last couple of seasons. I feel confident heading into this season as I have a better understanding of the car and am better prepared for it. 2012 is an important year for me so I will work hard to achieve the best possible result. My aim this season is to improve my overall performance by regularly finishing in the points and score some podium finishes.”

Jonathan Palmer, Formula Two Chief Executive, added: “I’m delighted Parthiva is back in F2 this year. He had some very strong performances last season, including a superb drive at Brands Hatch in race two where he made up eight places from 19^th on the grid, and I’m quite sure he will build on his experiences in 2012. He’s certainly capable of scoring frequently and securing his maiden podium.”

Gerade rechtzeitig zum Auftritt der KTM X-BOW BATTLE auf der DiTech Racingshow
trudelte bei Veranstalter Georg Silbermayr Post aus Deutschland ein. Inhalt: Ein von ITRChef
Hans-Werner Aufrecht höchstpersönlich unterschriebener Vertrag, der den Auftritt der
KTM X-BOW BATTLE als Rahmenserie bei der DTM am Red Bull Ring fixiert! Für Georg
Silbermayr nicht nur ein weiterer Baustein in der Erfolgsgeschichte der „BATTLE“, sondern
vor allem ein großer Vertrauensbeweis von Seiten der DTM-Organisatoren: „Es ist für mich,
mein Team und vor allem auch für alle Starter der KTM X-BOW BATTLE ein unheimliches
Kompliment, dass uns die ITR die Gelegenheit zu einem echten „Heimspiel“ gibt. Wir haben
offensichtlich am Adria Raceway im Jahre 2010 und auf dem Lausitzring im Jahre 2011 eine
so gute Vorstellung abgeliefert, dass wir beim österreichischen Rennsport-Highlight des
Jahres 2012 mit von der Partie sein dürfen!“
Für das große Saison-Highlight, das als Gastauftritt nicht zur Gesamtwertung der KTM XBOW
BATTLE zählen wird, laufen die Planungen ab sofort auf Hochtouren, schließlich
erwartet man – obwohl keine Punkte vergeben werden –ein volles Starterfeld: „Die
Nennungen für die Saison trudeln im Moment ein, jeden Tag kommt jemand dazu. Und da
sieht es schon jetzt sehr gut aus, ich denke, wir werden die vorjährigen Starterzahlen noch
einmal übertreffen können“, so Georg Silbermayr. „Deshalb rechnen wir auch bei unserem
Auftritt im Rahmen der DTM damit, dass die maximal erlaubte Teilnehmerzahl von 44
Startern sehr schnell erreicht sein wird – die Fans können sich also auf packende Renn-
Action freuen!“
Fans werden jedenfalls genügend vor Ort sein, im Vorjahr war der Lauf der DTM jedenfalls
das bestbesuchte Rennwochenende am Red Bull Ring – und dass dem auch 2012 so sein
wird, daran besteht nicht der geringste Zweifel. „Grande Casino“ also für die KTM X-BOW
BATTLE, die noch dazu mit neuem Reglement in die neue Saison startet – die „Unlimited“
Klasse wurde eingebremst und mit der „ProAm“ zusammengelegt, die Fahrzeuge der
„Rookies“ hingegen bleiben weitgehend unverändert. Georg Silbermayr erwartet einen mehr
als spannenden Titelkampf bei gesunkenen Kosten: „Durch die „Abrüstung“, die wir durch
das Reglement herbeiführen, halten sich die Einsatzkosten im Rahmen, man muss kein
Vermögen ausgeben, um in der großen Klasse ein siegfähiges Auto zu haben. Ich erwarte
mir ein riesiges Gedränge um die Stockerlplätze, es wird garantiert eine tolle Saison!“
