Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo
The circuit is located in Cheste, only 20 Km from Valencia and 5 Km from Manises International Airport. Its proximity to the city allows the Circuit to get favoured by the high quality of Valencia’s accesses and its useful communication network.

A Circuit within a Stadium says the conception of the Circuit. It was built thinking in a Stadium, where all the spectators are able to watch the whole details of the race. From the 65,000 chairs of the grandstands, spectators can see the entire racetrack. This quality permits follow races and not to lose details.

The complicated racetrack and the excellent facilities have achieved that the circuit has become the valencian motorsport’s nerve centre because races, testing days and different activities make the circuit get to the 95% of occupation during the year. It’s the only one is Spain with the most important motorcycle championships, World Superbike and MotoGP, as Assen (Netherlands), Phillip Island (Australia) and Losail (Qatar).

Formula 1 teams do their winter test in Cheste before the start of the season and since 2007 the GP2 Series have in Valencia Circuit its only round out of Formula 1 schedule. The World Touring Car Championship, national and international races complete the circuit schedule.

The wisdom of Valencian Government is recognised also with the three IRTA Best Grand Prix trophies received in the last years. This is important because the teams are who decide this trophy. The Comunitat Valenciana Circuit ends the MotoGP season with 120.000 fans in the grandstands and with the MotoGP stars enjoying with racetrack and atmosphere.

But the goal of the Valencian Government is bigger. The Valencia Circuit wants to be a revitalizing element, not only a race track. It’s a meeting point, a place for enjoy with friends, with the family. That’s why Circuit management sets up complementary activities in every event. The goal is to achieve that spectator take part, enjoy and not only think in motorsport. This politics has brought the Circuit over to the Valencian society.
