Eurosport Events, promoter of the WTCC via its subsidiary KSO, is proud to welcome KW as new official Series Partner of the Word Touring Car Championship.
The partnership will cover all 2009 WTCC rounds, starting this weekend with the Race of France in Pau up to the final race meeting of the season on 21-22 November in Macau.
As Series Partner of WTCC, the leading suspension and shock absorber company will be present on the number plates (front and rear) of all WTCC cars, providing a great visibility to the KW brand. In addition, the KW Suspension logo will be associated to all WTCC promotional campaigns, including presence on posters, newsletters, flyers as well as on the official series‘ website.
"We are delighted to announce this partnership with KW, whose presence throughout the season confirms their trust in the WTCC brand. This agreement will also enable KW to benefit from Eurosport’s powerful multimedia platform, on-air, online and through event sponsorship," says Jacques Raynaud, Vice-Chairman of Eurosport Group and Eurosport Events.
"The WTCC is very attractive for our brand, as the cars are very close to standard road cars" says KW chairman Klaus Wohlfahrt concerning the KW involvement. "Here, real cars are driven in real races. There is no other series worldwide which is closer to the racing fans than WTCC."
