Get ready for a brand new Creventic race, but already a famous, well-known and respected endurance race for most of us. This year Creventic is proud to announce the coöperation with The RACC and circuit the Catalunya for the 24H Barcelona at the well-known F1 circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona on 23, 24 and 25 September 2011.
The circuit has hosted the 24H of Barcelona already over 10 years. There were years with a field of more than 75 cars up to 2000 CC who were battling for the win! Together with the circuit organisation RACC we picked up the challenge. With classes similar to the 24H of Dubai and the 12H of Hungary, we are able to fit this traditionally 24H race into the 24H Series.
Barcelona, Mediterranean capital, Located on the Mediterranean coast, Barcelona adds its rich artistic and cultural heritage to the dynamism of a modern city, with sophisticated shops and high quality restaurants. The mild temperature throughout the year is ideal to take a walk around the city and to enjoy the 4.5 kilometres of beaches, The Gothic quarter, The wonderful buildings by Gaudí are, on the other hand, evidence of the strong modernist movement in the late 19th century. Not for nothing the city treasures nine buildings which have been declared World Heritage. The Catalan capital has an intense agenda full of festivals, exhibitions and concerts. The city has become a gastronomic destination, with 17 stars in the Michelin Guide, as well as a shopping destination, on its five kilometres long Barcelona Shopping Line.
