Adrián Vallés cierra el paso de la Superleague Formula por el circuito de Monza reafirmando su liderato de la categoría. Ya son diez carreras disputadas dominando la clasificación desde la primera.

En esta ocasión, un cuarto y un quinto puesto le han permitido sumar 68 puntos, cediendo solamente 9 puntos a manos del Tottenham inglés.

Los grandes perjudicados del fin de semana han sido el AC Milan de Giorgio Pantano, el Corinthians de Pizzonia y Basel que han visto desvanecerse sus posibilidades de ganar el campeonato y muy comprometidas sus aspiraciones al Podium a manos del Olympiacos griego que ha sido protagonista del fin de semana junto con el Sevilla del Sebastien Bourdais

Carrera tras carrera, Adrián Vallés demuestra la solidez de su liderato y afronta ahora las dos últimas carreras en el circuito español del Jarama con una ventaja de 49 puntos sobre el segundo clasificado. Solamente el Tottenham de Craig Dolby tiene opciones matemáticas de arrebatarle el campeonato en Madrid.

Sin embargo, la lucha por el segundo y tercer escalón del podium final se presenta apasionante, con 50 puntos para el ganador de cada carrera, son hasta siete los equipos con posibilidades de llegar al segundo puesto. 21 puntos separan a seis equipos por el tercer puesto.

La cita del Jarama será una batalla sin cuartel sobre un trazado extremadamente exigente que no va a permitir el más mínimo descuido a los pilotos. 13.500 caballos sobre el asfalto.

Adrián Vallés:

“Este fin de semana era crucial y ha sido agotador mantener la cabeza fría para no meterme en peleas arriesgadas que me impidieran sumar los puntos necesarios para el campeonato.

De momento solo tengo asegurado el podio final, así que ojala pueda asegurarme el campeonato en la primera carrera del Jarama para dar rienda suelta y disfrutar de la segunda carrera. No será nada fácil, estos monoplazas con 750 caballos y dimensiones tan grandes no van a ser fáciles de dominar en un trazado como el madrileño.”

Mientras que en el Circuito Mallorca Renn Arena se estaba celebrando una prueba de velocidad, en la pista de karting se hacía lo propio con una de Minimotos y Minimotard, que organizaba el Motoclub 4 Illes. Con una inscripción de 48 pilotos, estas especialidades de minimotos y minimotard están teniendo un gran éxito, con más del doble de pilotos que en la mencionada carrera de velocidad.

Minimotos GP1

Empate a puntos entre Fco. Javier Salmerón y Guillermo Mora, resuelto a favor del primero por el mayor valor de la segunda manga. Pedro Pérez estuvo siempre atento a cualquier fallo de los dos primeros, consiguiendo la tercera plaza en la general y en ambas mangas. José Manuel Martín ocupó la cuarta posición, por delante de Carlos San Juan y de Gorka Hernández. Ninguno de estos dos pilotos terminó la primera manga.

Minimotos GP2

También en esta categoría se repitió el empate entre los dos primeros, Manolo Trillo y Daniel García, quedando en este mismo orden. Curiosamente los que acabaron segundos en las dos carreras no consiguieron redondear en la otra, siendo Marcelino Fernández tercero y Antonio Fernández cuarto, este último no acabó la segunda manga.

Minimotos Base

Con cinco pilotos, la victoria fue para Xairo Casanova, que fue segundo en la primera carrera y venció en la segunda. La segunda paz final fue para Kevin Donoso, que no pudo redondear la victoria en la primera manga, siendo cuarto en la segunda. Damià Huguet fue tercero (3º y 2º) mientras que Bernat Rigo y Nuria Perelló fueron cuarto y quinta respectivamente.

Minimotos 6,2CV

Jorge López ganó la segunda manga y la general gracias a su segunda plaza en la primera carrera, mientras que el ganador de esta se tenía que conformar con la tercera plaza final al acabar último en la segunda carrera. Alex Vives fue tercero, precediendo a José Luis Pérez, Augusto Fernández, Juan Miquel Vaquer y Víctor Álvarez.

Minimotos Iniciación

Vicente Romero fue el ganador de ambas mangas, empatando a puntos por la segunda plaza Joan Uviña y Daniel Urrutia, quedando en esta posición. Alejandro Fernández fue cuarto, Ruben Castro quinto, Francisco Aguilera sexto, Iker Fernández séptimo, Fco. José Martín octavo y noveno y último Iker Domenguez.

Minimotard Extreme

Dominio absoluto de Enrique Arjona, que con dos victorias se adjudicó los 50 puntos en juego. Onofre Quijada, que compartió circuitos al participar también en Promo Base, fue segundo, mientras que la tercera posición del podio fue para Vívtor José Velez. Daniel Vidal fue cuarto, seguido de Marc Buades, David Villena y Joan María Díaz.

Minimotard Base

Tres pilotos se disputaron la victoria en esta categoría, recayendo en Juan Mir con una victoria y una segunda posición. Adrià Alcaraz fue segundo, con un tercer puesto y una trabajada victoria en la segunda manga, mientras que Augusto Fernández fue tercero. Diego Pérez fue cuarto, precediendo a seis pilotos más, Joan Uviña, José Luis Pérez, Joan Miquel Bauzá, Jorge López y Vicente Romera.

PRESENTACION EQUIPO DE DAVID SALOM – GABINETE DE PRENSA Y NUEVO DOMICILIO – SEDE

Se hace saber a todos los medios de comunicación de la creación del nuevo Gabinete de Prensa del piloto mallorquín del Mundial de Superbikes David Salom.

A través de este gabinete, os haremos saber de la situación de David en cada momento, de su agenda, su programación, novedades, eventos en los que participa, calendario oficial …etc…

Actualmente David es promotor de nuevas ideas que implican muchas y diferentes posibilidades para promocionar el mundo del motor, ideas con proyección local, nacional e internacional.

En estos momentos se están barajando diferentes opciones de diferentes equipos para fichar el año que viene, de los que sabremos resultados durante las próximas semanas.

Daniel Abt mit seinem Vater Hans-Jürgen

Mit dem Fahrernamen Daniel Abt in der Starterliste rückt der ATS Formel-3-Cup einmal mehr in das Interesse der Öffentlichkeit. Der 16 Jahre alte Kemptener aus der bekannten Tuner-Famile Abt wird sein Formel-3-Debüt beim Saisonfinale am 17. und 18. Oktober in der Motorsportarena Oschersleben feiern. Daniel Abt fährt einen Dallara F307 Volkwagen des Teams Performance Racing.
„Ich freue mich riesig über diese Chance und kann das Wochenende kaum abwarten“, sagt Daniel Abt. „Ich möchte mich herzlich bei Kris Nissen und Volkswagen Motorsport für diese Möglichkeit bedanken.“ Erste Erfahrungen im 210 PS starken Formel-3-Monoposto hat Abt bereits bei Testfahrten in den vergangenen Wochen gesammelt. Daniel Abt kommt als frisch gebackener Champion des ADAC Formel Masters. Nach acht Saisonsiegen liegt er dort uneinholbar an der Tabellenspitze.
Damit ist er ein prominentes Beispiel und unterstreicht die Philosophie des ATS Formel-3-Cup, wie Pressesprecher Peter Dahlmanns erläutert: „Unsere Serie wird als wichtige Stufe nach dem professionellen Kartsport und nach dem Formel Masters betrieben. Für die jungen Piloten bietet der ATS Formel-3-Cup ideale Lern- und Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten ohne allzu großen Druck aufzubauen.“
Abt und die deutsche Formel 3 haben eine gemeinsame Tradition, die jetzt wieder auflebt: 1992 feierte Christian Abt, der Onkel von Daniel, den Titelgewinn in der Trophy-Wertung des Championats. „Die Formel 3 ist das Sprungbrett und die Tür zum ganz großen Motorsport. Wer beispielsweise in die Formel 1 will, muss diesen Weg gehen. Aber auch für andere Bereiche des Motorsports ist das Know-How aus der Formel 3 wichtig. Der ATS Formel-3-Cup ist daher eine optimale Vorbereitung für die Euroserie oder auch für die GP 2“, urteilt der ehemalige DTM-Pilot Christian Abt.
Daniel Abt wurde am 03. Dezember 1992 in Kempten im Allgäu geboren. 2003 stieg der ehrgeizige Fachoberschüler in den Kartsport ein und fuhr 2008 erstmals im ADAC Formel Masters. 2009 holte er dort überlegen den Meistertitel. Daniel Abt ist der Sohn von Hans-Jürgen Abt und der Neffe von Christian Abt, die gemeinsam die Tuningschmiede ihres Vaters Johann zum weltbekannten Tuningunternehmen Abt Sportsline ausbauten. Besondere Kompetenz und den Ruf bedingungsloser Professionalität hat sich Abt in der DTM erworben.

Mit einem souveränen Sieg beim Rennen in Estoril konnte Fiat Yamaha Fahrer Jorge Lorenzo seinen Rückstand in der WM-Tabelle auf 18 Punkte auf seinen führenden Teamkollegen Valentino Rossi verringern. Der Spanier, der im vergangenen Jahr an gleicher Stelle seinen ersten MotoGP-Sieg einfahren konnte, dominierte das Rennen und überquerte am Ende mit 6,294 Sekunden Vorsprung auf den zweiten Casey Stoner den Zielstrich.

Teamkollege Valentino Rossi musste während des Rennens kämpfen und verpasste mit Rang vier nur knapp den Sprung auf das Podium. Mit Lorenzos Sieg und den Punkten für Rossis vierten Platz konnte sich das Fiat Yamaha Team vorzeitig den Titel für das beste WM-Team sichern, der erste Schritt zum eventuellen dreifach Sieg in dieser Saison.

Der 22-jährige Lorenzo war das ganze Wochenende stark und sicherte sich auch im Zeittraining am Samstag die Pole-Position. Beim Start verlor der Spanier kurzzeitig die Führung an seinen Landsmann Dani Pedrosa, konnte sich aber nach wenigen Kurven die Spitzenposition zurückerobern und diese bis zum Ende des Rennens behalten. Mit speziellem Design in Erinnerung an die Mondlandung und zur Einführung des Fiat Punkte Evo war Lorenzo der Dominator auf der portugiesischen Strecke und gewann sein 26. Rennen in seiner Karriere.

Valentino Rossi hatte weniger Erfolg und konnte den Speed seines Teamkollegen nicht mitgehen. Der Italiener kämpfte mit Gripproblemen am Hinterrad und verlor bereits in der ersten Runde Plätze und war während des gesamten Rennens nicht in der Lage, ernsthaft anzugreifen. Am Ende betrug der Rückstand auf den Siege Lorenzo 13 Sekunden. Für Rossi war es das 100. Rennen für Yamaha, von denen er unglaubliche 43 gewinnen konnte.

„Was für ein Tag! Ich bin so glücklich, erneut auf der Strecke gewonnen zu haben, auf der ich letztes Jahr mein erstes MotoGP-Rennen gewinnen konnte. Ich habe in der Pause mit meinem Vater so hart an meiner Fitness gearbeitet und fühlte mich so stark, was mir vermutlich für das Rennen einen Extraschub gegeben hat. Mein Start war gut und es hat nur einige Kurven gedauert, bis ich Dani überholen konnte. Ehrlich gesagt, hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass ich mit so einem Abstand gewinnen kann. Diese Strecke ist toll für mich, doch ich bin mittlerweile überall schnell, mal mehr, mal etwas weniger. In der WM sind wird jetzt wieder etwas näher beisammen, auch wenn es nicht einfach ist – wir haben nichts zu verlieren! Dass wir den Teamtitel gewonnen haben, macht mich stolz und ich möchte jedem Danken und Gratulieren. Mein Helm- und Lederdesign von diesem Wochenende mag ich sehr und ich wollte Neil Armstrongs Landung auf dem Mond feiern, also habe ich in der Auslaufrunde meinen Moonwalk gezeigt.“

“Für mich war es ein schwieriges Rennen. Ich hatte Probleme mit dem Grip am Hinterreifen und war niemals in der Lage, richtig schnell zu fahren. Der Reifen hat einfach nicht gut gearbeitet, doch ich denke, es lag wohl mehr am Set-Up. Nach ein paar Runden war ich in ziemlichen Schwierigkeiten und wusste, dass die sicherlich nicht mein Rennen wird. Schon während der Trainings hatte ich Probleme, doch ich dachte eigentlich, dass ich mit Stoner und Pedrosa mithalten kann, was leider nicht funktioniert hat. Am Freitag lag ich noch 0,3 Sekunden zurück und leider haben wir diesen Rückstand das ganze Wochenende nicht verringern können. Schon im letzten Jahr hatten wir hier in Estoril Probleme und es sieht danach aus, dass der Hinterreifen mit unserem Set-Up einfach zu heiß wird und an Grip verliert. Es ist schade, dass ich es nicht auf das Podium geschafft habe, doch wir haben ja noch drei Rennen auf tollen Strecken. Wir werden jetzt von Rennen zu Rennen denken und versuchen, das Problem zu verstehen, um es für Phillip Island zu lösen.“

Sporting Lisbon’s Pedro Petiz took his and the club’s first Superleague Formula by Sonangol victory at Monza today after a mature, untroubled drive from start to finish. Seville’s Sebastien Bourdais meanwhile came through to third after starting last to grab the Weekend Winner award.

Craig Dolby added a hard fought second position to race 1’s fifth place to finish the weekend third overall with Olympiacos’ Esteban Guerrieri second thanks to his runners-up spot in the opener and fourth in race two.
Just as in the opening race, the sprint down to the first corner saw three cars go side-by-side with AC Milan popping out from behind the front row starting Flamengo car of Jonathan Kennard. Sporting had just enough room to hold the lead into the chicane as the Englishman attempted to make amends by going around the outside of Pantano. Although ahead, he just clipped the Italian and span, partially blocking the track and forcing the rest of the field on to the grass, resulting a delay that allowed Petiz to end lap one nearly two seconds clear.
The action remained frenetic for those behind with PSV Eindhoven’s Carlo Van Dam relieving Pantano of second on lap two before Olympiacos and Anderlecht collided at the first chicane, sending both momentarily into the gravel. The accident triggered a chain reaction behind with race 1 podium finisher Julien Jousse receiving a right-rear puncture that was to end his and AS Roma’s race.

Sporting pitted at the end of lap eight with a healthy advantage over PSV who opted to stay out. FC Basel, who had now passed Pantano for third, followed the Portuguese in but was delayed badly when attempting to leave his box after Milan over-shot his marks and sat stranded in the pits. The incident backed up those who were also pitting, handing a significant advantage to the drivers who had opted to stay out.

With everyone having completed their stops by lap 12, Petiz regained his advantage to the tune of over six seconds from Van Dam who was shuffled down to third on his first lap out of the pits by Corinthians’ Antonio Pizzonia. Tottenham’s Craig Dolby, up from 14th on the reverse grid, soon followed suit with a recovering Max Wissel doing likewise on lap 15.
But FC Basel’s title challenge came to an end the very next lap when Wissel slowed along the pit straight. Behind, Seville’s Sebastien Bourdais, who’d started dead last after winning race one, slipstreamed PSV into the first corner and set off after Corinthians who a charging Dolby had passed a lap earlier.
With league-leaders Liverpool up to fifth, the Englishman needed all the points he could muster if he was to reduce his deficit at the top of the standings. Try as he might though there was simply no catching Petiz who reeled off the last ten minutes with consummate ease to claim victory by 6.051 seconds.
Dolby came home second with Bourdais completing an excellent weekend for Seville in third. Race 1 runner-up Guerrieri was fourth after an opportunist move on Liverpool, who finished fifth, while battling with the slowing Corinthians.
FC Porto’s retirement in the closing stages handed Anderlecht their second sixth place of the day, ahead of Galatasaray’s Ho-Pin Tung, PSV, Corinthians and Atletico Madrid’s Maria de Villota. 
The result sees Tottenham close to within 49 points of Liverpool ahead of the season finale in Jarama, Spain next month in what has effectively become a two-horse race for the title. Wissel’s disappointing weekend sees FC Basel replaced in third overall by Olympiacos while Milan lost out badly at home, tumbling from fourth to eighth.

Sebastien Bourdais, Seville: “For sure the second race was going to be more difficult to win. If someone had told me we would have finished third after starting dead last, I would have said you are kidding! We just took it easy to start with as I thought there would be a few tangles and kept my push-to-passes. I thought I had a puncture on a couple of occasions because my team mate actually ran in to the back of me when the other guys short-cutted the chicane. Overall I am very happy. The car was pretty solid and the team did a good job. We made no mistakes and that’s what won us the event.”
Esteban Guerrieri, Olympiacos: “Race 2 was a good race but it was a bit of a mess because there were a lot of incidents on the track and in the pit lane, with many cars stopping at the same time. I got stuck behind Olympique Lyonnais, which was stopping in front of me, and I lost a bit of time. Before that I made contact in the first chicane with another car and lost some time going into the gravel, so it was a bit of a mixed race with a lot things happening. But overall I had good pace, the car was really nice to drive and I pushed every lap at 100% trying to get the maximum out of the tyres. With all the incidents, fourth was the best we could have done.”
Craig Dolby, Tottenham: “The first few laps were unbelievable and very aggressive, as I knew I had to be. I needed to catch Max in the championship which meant finishing ahead. We caught up and passed before his problem so I did what I’d set out to do. After the issues in qualifying, I thought it would be difficult, but we never gave up. We came fifth in the first race with an engine problem which we fixed and came through from the back of the grid, passing all the people who had problems in the pit stops before they got there. I showed a few people that I am not going to back down and if my car is on the inside I will stay on the inside. A few people tried to push me on to the grass but I went wheel-to-wheel with them. For Jarama, the championship is still wide open so I will definitely be giving it large!”
