El piloto balear Joan Perelló ha participado este domingo en la 15ª prueba del Campeonato del Mundo de 125GP, que se ha celebrado en el Circuito de Motegi, en Japón. Este gran premio, que se debía haber celebrado el pasado mes de abril, fue aplazado al 2 de octubre debido al terremoto y posterior tsunami que asoló el país nipón, y que causo graves daños a la central de Fukushima, situada a 120 kilómetros del circuito.

El joven piloto, que se está preparando en el Centro de Tecnificación de Motociclismo de la Escuela Balear de l’Esport, se clasificó en la posición 29, tomando la salida desde la décima linea de la parrilla.

 

Como ya viene siendo habitual, Joan hizo una carrera de menos a más, y en pocas vueltas ya se había situado en la 26ª posición. Siguió progresando hasta llegar a la 21ª plaza, pero la perdió en el penúltimo giro, acabando 22º.

En apenas una semana el piloto, junto a su equipo el Matteoni Racing y su manager Eduardo Perales, se desplazarán al circuito Phillip Island, para disputar el Gran Premio de Australia, que se celebra el 16 de octubre.

TIANMA CIRCUIT TO HOST WTCC IN CHINA

The WTCC Race of China will take place on November 6 at the Shanghai Tianma Circuit, in a joint event with the China Touring Car Championship’s final race meeting.
Following the decision to move the WTCC and CTCC race meeting from the Guangdong International Circuit to Shanghai, the first option for the promoters of both championships was to race at the Shanghai International Circuit. However, as the Formula One venue was already booked for the first weekend in November, they opted for Shanghai’s other racetrack.
The Shanghai Tianma Circuit was inaugurated in 2004 and has already hosted several rounds of the China Touring Car and Superbike Championships. It is located in the Sheshan Songjiang district, in the Western outskirts of Shanghai.
The circuit has already been licensed by the FIA for Touring Car competitions.

A CHEVROLET FOR TOSHI ARAI AT SUZUKA
Toshihiro Arai, one of Japan’s most successful rally drivers ever, will make his racing debut in the World Touring Car Championship’s event at Suzuka, on October 23.
The 45-year old Arai will be at the wheel of a fourth Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T run by the Chevrolet-RML team, alongside regular drivers Yvan Muller, Rob Huff and Alain Menu. The team had already fielded a fourth car earlier this year, when Brazilian Stockcar star Carlos "Cacá" Bueno finished third and fourth in his home races at Curitiba.
During the latest twenty years Arai built himself a solid reputation as a competitive rallyman, always driving Subaru cars in the World Rally Championship. The peaks of his career were two FIA Production Car World Rally Championship titles in 2005 and 2007.
Arai was given the opportunity to test the WTCC Cruze last Thursday at Pembrey, UK.
"I was extremely pleased with the test," he said "The Cruze is pleasant to drive and very responsive, and the team extremely professional. I am delighted to have the opportunity to race my home WTCC event and to do it with Chevrolet. This will be a new experience for me, but the philosophy of WTCC and WRC Production Cars is the same and I hope I can adapt quickly. To debut in the WTCC with the Cruze and the reigning World Champion team is the best proposition one could dream of!"

JAVIER VILLA IN GP2 TEST AT JEREZ
Proteam Racing driver Javier Villa was invited by the Super Nova team to the GP2 test that will take place this weekend at Jerez de la Frontera.
The young Spaniard, who is currently fighting for the WTCC Yokohama Trophy title on his first Touring Car season, is very pleased to rejoin his former team.
"It was a welcome invitation that I am very pleased to accept," he said. "It is more than a year and a half since I last raced in GP2, but the teams continue relying on me. After the shakedown of the new Dallara I did for Arden last year, which went very well, I’ve now got this new chance to drive a single-seater."
MULLER RETURNS TO THE FRENCH RALLY
This weekend WTCC reigning champion and current point leader Yvan Muller will take part once again in the French round of the World Rally Championship. During last year’s maiden appearance on the roads of his home region, Muller was very impressive, running consistently among the top drivers.
Due to fuel feeding problems to his Citroën Xsara WRC, he achieved only the 42nd position in the final classification, however he was able to clock some brilliant times in the special stages, a sixth in SS20 being his best.
This year Muller returns to the Rallye de France Alsace, sharing a Peugeot 207 S2000 with co-driver Guy Lenevau.

Beim Qualifying der Formel 3 Euro Serie auf dem 4,005 Kilometer langen Circuit Ricardo Tormo vor den Toren von Valencia holte sich Titelfavorit Roberto Merhi (Prema Powerteam, 1:27,860 Minuten) die Pole-Position für Lauf drei. Der Spanier fuhr im Qualifying die schnellste Rundenzeit vor Nigel Melker (Mücke Motorsport, 1:27,947 Minuten) und Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport, 1:28,082 Minuten). Rookie Nigel Melker klassierte sich im Ranking der zweitschnellsten Runden auf Platz eins und nimmt deshalb das erste Rennen des Wochenendes von der Startposition eins auf.
Roberto Merhi hatte die Bestzeit bereits nach der ersten Hälfte des Qualifyings inne. Mit dem zweiten Reifensatz entwickelte sich gegen Ende des 30-minütigen Zeittrainings ein spannender Schlagabtausch, in dem Roberto Merhi, Nigel Melker und Felix Rosenqvist um die ersten Positionen kämpften. Die beiden Mücke-Piloten Rosenqvist und Melker konnten ihre kurzzeitige Führung nicht halten, denn Prema-Fahrer Merhi schob sich drei Minuten vor Schluss erneut an die Spitze der Wertung. Diese verteidigte er bis zum Abwinken des Qualifyings.
Für die beiden einzigen verbliebenen Titelrivalen von Roberto Merhi verlief das Qualifying nicht optimal: Daniel Juncadella (Prema Powerteam, 1:28,311 Minuten) reihte sich auf Position vier ein, Marco Wittmann (Signature, 1:28,672 Minuten) folgte auf dem siebten Rang. Er klassierte sich unmittelbar hinter seinen beiden Teamkollegen Laurens Vanthoor (Signature, 1:28,401 Minuten) und Carlos Muñoz (Signature, 1:28,648 Minuten).
Roberto Merhi (Prema Powerteam): „Das Qualifying war in Ordnung, aber ich hatte eigentlich etwas mehr erwartet. Mein Auto fühlte sich gut an, die Rundenzeiten waren dennoch nicht auf dem Level, das ich erhofft hatte. Mit meinen Positionen eins und zwei bin ich dennoch zufrieden. Das sind immer noch gute Ausgangspositionen, um die Rennen zu gewinnen.“
Nigel Melker (Mücke Motorsport): „Mit einem zweiten Platz und einer Pole-Position bin ich glücklich, trotzdem wäre mehr möglich gewesen. Ich hatte in meiner zweitschnellsten Runde ein paar kleinere Fehler und mit dem ersten Reifensatz lief es noch nicht rund. Mit dem zweiten Satz wusste ich, was ich besser machen musste.“

3. TEST DE KARTING PILOTOS DE MALLORCA EN MOTORLAND ARAGON

Los pilotos de la categoria senior de Mallorca, organizaron un nuevo test y esta vez, en el Circuito Motorland Aragón.

En total 7 pilotos, mallorquines organizaron, un especial test, durante el pasado fin de semana, trasladandose al Circuito de Motorland en la ciudad de Alcañiz, Teruel, con diferentes tandas organizadas por el propio circuito, el sabado, y otras tandas libres el domingo.

En esta ocasión los pilotos mallorquines de la categoria senior, y un alevín, pudieron comprobar in-situ, las espectaculares instalaciones del Circuito de Motorland.

Pilotos, como la fémina Ana Maria James, Jose Luis, y Federico Zarcos, Juan Carlos Resoagli, Vicente Garcia, Jose Angel Pardos, y Albert Coll, imprimieron un fuerte ritmo de entrenamiento, y estuvieron altamente agradecidos a la organización y dirección del circuito, por las atenciones que prestaron a los pilotos mallorquines, que desde las islas se desplazaron con todo el material, con un camión suministrado por la empresa Transportes Resoagli, S.A., que sin su colaboración no podrian celebrar este evento.

Luis Salom G.P. Japón – Previo

Luis Salom ya se encuentra en Japón, más concretamente en la ciudad de Motegi, donde este próximo fin de semana (del 30 de septiembre al 2 de octubre) se celebra el Gran Premio de Japón. Este ha sido, sin duda, la prueba que ha despertado más preocupación entre los pilotos de las tres categorías, 125cc, Moto2 y MotoGP. Debía ser la tercera cita del calendario pero el 11 de marzo Japón fue víctima de un terrible terremoto, seguido de un devastador Tsunami que azotó las costas niponas.

La Planta de Energía Nuclear de Fukushima tuvo daños importantes, que provocaron fugas radioactivas, creando una gran inseguridad en la zona. A pesar que el Circuito de Motegi está a más de 120 kilómetros de Fukushima, muchos de los pilotos se plantearon no asistir a este gran premio, que fue aplazado del 24 de abril al 2 de octubre. Tras unos meses, en los que se han realizados estudios sobre el estado actual, todos los pilotos estarán presentes en la prueba número 15 del campeonato.

El piloto balear, que participa en la categoría de 125cc con una Aprilia RSA del equipo RW Racing GP, está situado en la novena plaza de la clasificación provisional, y tendrá como objetivo, en las cuatro carreras que faltan, luchar por los puestos de honor, y conseguir los puntos necesarios para mejorar esta posición. El viernes tendrán lugar las dos primeras sesiones de entrenos libres, a las 2:15 y a las 06:15 h de la madrugada debido al cambio horario.

2. RALLYE VALL DE SANT PERE 24./25.09.2011

Un total de 46 vehículos tomaban parte en el 2º Rallye Vall de Sant Pere tras las pertinentes verificaciones. La lluvia sería la protagonista de la jornada del sábado que dejaba el asfalto en unas condiciones muy delicadas. Jaime Riera aprovechaba su oportunidad y se marcaba el primer scratch, junto a José Martorell, sorprendiendo ambos a Dani Lozano y Carlos Pérez que se clasificaban a continuación. A partir de este tramo Dani Lozano lanzaba su ataque y se anotaba los siguientes tramos aunque con Jaime Riera siempre en posiciones de podium. La primera sección finalizaba con el Seat Ibiza Kit Car en la primera posición, superando en seis segundos a Jaime Riera, que dominaba el grupo N. A 26 segundos del líder, José Martorell se situaba tercero por delante de Rafa Binimelis y Carlos Pérez. Tras esta sección se producían los abandonos de José Ruíz y Pedro Pou por salida de carretera y Julián Gómez por rotura de escape.

En la segunda sección, con asfalto seco, Dani Lozano continuaba con su racha demoledora y se anotaba todos los tramos hasta llegar a tener una ventaja de casi dos minutos sobre el segundo clasificado. Carlos Pérez también aumentaba su ritmo desatando una intensa lucha con Rafa Binimelis por la segunda plaza. A dos minutos de las posiciones de podium se situaba Antonio Amer, que con su Citroen Saxo se colocaba por delante de Antonio David García con una ventaja de un minuto. Intensa también la lucha por la sexta plaza donde Marc Ordinas y Lorenzo Andreu estaban separados por tan solo cuatro segundos a favor del Peugeot 205.

En las últimas pasadas la lluvia volvía a hacer acto de presencia y marcaría el desarrollo final de la primera etapa. Con la ventaja acumulada Dani Lozano se tomaba las cosas con más calma y administraba su ventaja. Carlos Pérez aprovechaba la ocasión y marcaba el scratch en Esporles sacándole 14 segundos a Rafa Binimelis lo que le valía subir a la segunda plaza de la general. Marc Ordinas hacía un final de rallye espectacular y era tercero en este tramo y ganaba los dos siguientes por delante del Mitsubishi de Talleres Valldemossa. Sión Verger también se "ponía las pilas" y marcaba dos cuartos scratch en los últimos tramos. Entre los "pequeños" destacar también a Xavi Verd que con su 205 Rallye se anotaba el sexto mejor crono en Calviá. 
Sorpresa en el último tramo cuando Rafa Binimelis tocaba una piedra y dañaba la dirección del Clio obligándole a abandonar cuando tenía una plaza en el podio asegurada

Mientras tanto continuaba el goteo de abandonos y Jaime Riera, José Martorell, Fernando Dameto y “Tacho” dejaban la carrera por avería mecánica.

La tercera y última sección del rallye ha sido de puro trámite con un tramo de 2.500 metros en el Circuito Renn Arena. Carlos Pérez ha puesto toda la carne en el asador y se imponía en las dos primeras pasadas a Dani Lozano que era segundo, mientras que en el tercer tramo se invertían las posiciones. Destacable actuación la de José Laville (GT Turbo) y José Miguel Álvarez que han entrado en el top 5 en cada pasada. 
Mala suerte para Lorenzo Andreu que abandonaba en la primera pasada al romper una transmisión del Peugeot.

La clasificación general no sufría cambios con Dani Lozano que se anotaba una nueva victoria, mientras que Carlos Perelló era segundo y se afianza como líder de la clasificación. Antonio Amer era cuarto a cuatro minutos por delante de Marc Ordinas, espectacular con el Peugeot 205, que se anotaba el grupo RI. Antonio David García se hacía con el quinto scrtach, mientras que Sión Verger se clasificaba a continuación y se anotaba el grupo N. Lucas Laville mejoraba en la segunda sección y ascendía hasta la séptima posición superando a José Miguel Alvarez y Xavi Verd que supo sacar todo el partido a su Peugeot 205, mientras que Gaspar Lladó completaba el top ten con el Williams de grupo A.

El equipo Illes Balears ha conseguido el objetivo de finalizar la prueba de Resistencia automovilística más importante de España.
A los mandos de un Seat León con especificaciones de la Copa 2005, los cinco pilotos Baleares han logrado terminar la durísima prueba que cada año se consolida como una de las más importantes dentro del calendario Europeo con la participación de importantes equipos internacionales.
El equipo formado por José Manuel Martinez, Joan Gost, Kike Perelló, Toni Jaume y Vicente Bufí como pilotos, y Vicente Sabater como jefe de equipo han disfrutado de esta primera participación y han conseguido una importante experiencia para las próximas ediciones.
Felicitados por Seat Sport por su valor y el gran trabajo que han realizado en esta primera participación, el equipo patrocinado por Blau Motors está muy animado y probablemente volverán mucho mejor preparados para el 2012.
El apoyo recibido por amigos y familiares ha sido una pieza importante en la consecución de estas 24 horas de resistencia.
Clasficados en el puesto 40 de 59 participantes, es un orgullo para todos los pilotos de Baleares poder contar por primera vez con un equipo Balear concluyendo las 24 horas de Barcelona.
Decimosegundos en su clase, sobreviviendo a equipos mucho más experimentados y lo más importante, disfrutando de la competición y el gran ambiente que se respira en esta prueba.

PROBLEMAS PARA SALOM EN IMOLA

David Salom afrontaba este fin de semana la prueba Italiana con el objetivo de defender su segundo puesto en el Campeonato del Mundo de Supersport, a los mandos de su Zx-6R debía mantener a Fabien Foret detrás de él para defender su puesto. El trazado de IMOLA sería el escenario de la décima prueba puntuable del Campeonato.
El piloto mallorquín se encontró con problemas desde los entrenamientos, las vibraciones en el tren delatero (Chattering), impedían a Salom rodar rápido mientras el equipo intentaba solucionar la puesta a punto sin exito.
David Salom lograba clasificarse en quinta posición, segunda fila de parrilla pero sin haber solucionado los problemas de su tren delantero.
Al tomar la salida y con el deposito lleno, los rebotes en el tren delantero se hacían más pronunciados y obligaban a Salom a rodar mucho más lento y dejaba escapar en las primeras vueltas al grupo que lucharía por la victoria.
Rodando en octava posición, defendía su puesto frente a su principal rival, la Honda de Foret rodaba a un ritmo superior y Salom intentaba detener su progesión pensando en la clasificación general pero en la decimotercera vuelta Foret se marchaba hacia delante dejando a Salom en séptima posición.
A falta de seis vueltas para el final, David no podía salvar la distancia que le separaba de su compañero Parcs que rodaba en la sexta plaza, mientras que las cosas se pusieron mucho mejor para su rival.
El lider, Davies rompía su motor y quedaba fuera de carrera, dejando a Foret luchando por la victoria con Sam Lowes, a falta de tres vueltas para finalizar Foret superaba a Lowes y lograba la victoria mientras que Salom cruzaba la meta en una meritoria quinta posición.
El piloto mallorquín se encuentra ahora en tercera posición del Campeonato a falta de dos pruebas por disputarse, aunque matemáticamente sigue teniendo opciones al título.

Sanremo showdown•Jan Kopecky maintains IRC title advantage
despite failing to sparkle
Thierry Neuville has won Rallye Sanremo following a thrilling finish
to the Intercontinental Rally Challenge round on the Italian Riviera
this afternoon. Driving a Team Peugeot Belgium-Luxembourg 207 Super
2000, Neuville surged ahead on the demanding asphalt event with one
stage remaining, having cancelled out an overnight deficit of 16.6s.
By going fastest on the final test, Neuville and co-driver Nicolas
Gilsoul did just enough to beat SKODA UK Motorsport pair Andreas
Mikkelsen and Ola Floene for their second IRC victory of 2011 and
ensure Peugeot’s capture of the IRC’s trio of classic
events, Rallye Monte-Carlo, Tour de Corse and now Rallye Sanremo.
Furthermore, it was the fourth time in 2011 that a round of the
all-action IRC has been decided by a margin of less than two seconds
following close finishes in Canary Islands, Czech Republic and Hungary
earlier in the year. Neuville’s success has also underlined the
pace of Peugeot’s 207 Super 2000, which has led the way on the
demanding narrow and twisty roads in the hills overlooking the
Mediterranean Sea for a third year in succession.
Freddy Loix had started the second day of the rally leading by 2.7s
having moved ahead of Mikkelsen after winning Friday’s night
stage in his BFO-SKODA Rally Team Fabia. Mikkelsen, who had led from
the opening stage on Friday, reclaimed top spot on Saturday’s
first test when Loix made his characteristic slow start.
Mikkelsen remained in front until Loix retook the lead after going
fastest two stages later. He started stage 11 a mere 2.5s in front
only to crash on a fast downhill section approximately halfway through
the test, fortunately without injury to neither he nor co-driver
Frederic Miclotte. With his car blocking the narrow road, organisers
were forced to cancel the stage.
Neuville, 23, won the penultimate run, one of four stage wins during
the final day, to start the final test 0.3s ahead of Mikkelsen.
Despite a determined charge, the 22-year-old Norwegian was unable to
land his maiden IRC victory, having led for much of the event.
Loix, whose efforts earned him the prestigious Coilin McRae IRC Flat
Out Trophy, could have moved to the top of the IRC standings if
he’d claimed maximum points and rival Jan Kopecky remained in
fifth place, having been unable to replicate the pace that has carried
him to back-to-back victories in Czech Republic and Hungary. As it is,
by inheriting fourth, Kopecky’s comfortable lead remains intact
heading to the penultimate round in Scotland next month.
Bruno Magalhaes rounded out his 2011 IRC campaign with a strong fifth
place for Peugeot Sport Portugal. Aside from a handful of set-up
issues and a lack of brakes on Friday’s night stage little
troubled the multiple Portuguese champion, who set a number of
competitive times in his 207.
M-Sport Ford Fiesta S2000 driver Umberto Scandola began day two as
the leading Italian but a steering problem on stage 10 dropped him to
seventh overall behind countryman Alessandro Perico in a privateer
Peugeot.
Pierre Campana’s bid to emulate the fourth-place finish he
recorded on Tour de Corse-E.Leclerc was hampered by a plethora of
mechanical problems, which required the fitting of a new loom and
injection rack at midday service. He took eighth.
Toni Gardemeister extended his point-scoring run in this year’s
IRC to eight events after the Finn brought his TGS Worldwide Fabia
home in ninth position. It was the first time he’d finished
Rallye Sanremo in five attempts.
Factory PROTON driver Giandomenico Basso had been in the fight for a
top finish but a spin on stage five and an off-road moment on the
night stage when his intercom failed and he couldn’t hear the
instructions of his co-driver Mitia Dotta, dropped him out of
contention. Alternator problems on Saturday morning caused further
frustration but he fought back to deny Swiss Peugeot privateer
Gregoire Hotz the final point on the very last stage. 
Peugeot UK’s Guy Wilks crashed out on Friday’s first
test. Australian Chris Atkinson also failed to complete the opening
run when his PROTON Motorsports’ Satria Neo stopped with a
suspected electrical failure. Karl Kruuda retired on Friday’s
night stage when a loss of brakes resulted in him sliding into a wall
and breaking his Fabia’s front-right wheel.
IRC Production CupFlorian Gonon claimed his third victory in the
inaugural IRC Production Cup after heading home Italian Ralliart
Mitsubishi Lancer driver Marco Cavigioli by a comfortable margin.
Gonon, driving a Subaru Impreza, was fastest in the category on all
but one stage. Irishman Eamonn Boland was third with Corrado Perino
fourth. Johan Heloise failed to finish.
IRC 2WD CupDavide Medici secured his maiden win in the IRC 2WD Cup
after seeing off the challenge of fellow Italian Stefano Albertini,
who last ground with set-up issues on the final day. Pierre-Antoine
Guglielmi, the winner of the IRC 2WD Cup in Corsica earlier this
season, finished third with Roberto Vescovi taking fourth.
Honda’s challenge unravelled when Sandro Sottile crashed on
stage four and Martin Kangur retired following a spate of mechanical
problems on Friday’s final three stages. Harry Hunt, the
defending IRC 2WD Cup champion, battled back from a tough opening day
to claim ninth with Elwis Chentre 10th in a SKODA Fabia R2. Michele
Tassone was the leading Abarth finisher.

“I was flat out on that last stage, it was incredible and I
can’t believe the result. I pushed really hard, it was such a
nice battle over the weekend, so intensive because the IRC is such a

this win won’t be the last for me.”

“I was right on the limit, we tried but it wasn’t enough.
But I have to be happy with this result because I certainly did expect
to be fighting with Freddy, Thierry and Bryan before the
start.”
Bryan Bouffier (France), Peugeot 207 S2000, third overall:
“This is not the best result for me because I would have
preferred to have fought for the victory. But it’s a good result
for Peugeot with two cars on the podium. Thierry did the perfect
race.”

Mit grossen Erwartungen gingen die beiden Fahrer Sebastian Grunert und Marco Klein an
den Start des 9. und 10. Laufes der KTM X-Bow Battle am Redbull Ring. Beide Fahrer
hatten die Möglichkeit die Meisterschaft vorzeitig in ihrer jeweiligen Klasse für sich zu
entscheiden.

Noch bevor jedoch der Meistertitel in der Klasse PROAM auf der Rennstrecke
ausgefochten werden konnte, wurde dieser durch einen Entscheid des Organisators
vorzeitig entschieden. Den beiden führenden Fahrern in der laufenden PROAMMeisterschaft
wurde mit sofortiger Wirkung die Möglichkeit gegeben sich bereits in der
obersten „Unlimited-Rennklasse“ zu bewähren und für die kommende Saison 2012 erste
Erkenntnisse ohne den obligatorischen Air-Restriktor zu erlangen.
Durch diese Massnahme, herbeigeführt durch einen Protest eines Mitstreiters um den
Meistertitel, konnte sich Sebastian Grunert vom Team ALL-SPORTS im CoolDown X-Bow
powered by Protected Racing bereits vor dem Start des ersten Wertungslaufes als
Staatsmeister feiern lassen.
Obwohl der Druck auf Sebastian Grunert’s Schultern nun gewichen war, zeigte er mit dem
um über 100PS unterlegenen Auto sein fahrerisches Können und klassierte sich im ersten
Lauf auf Platz 5. Im zweiten Lauf lag er auf Stockerlkurs bevor das Rennen wegen zu
starken Regens abgebrochen wurde. Ein toller 4. Rang in der Unlimited-Klasse, eine
spontane Siegesfeier und die Gewissheit dass sich die Fahrer der obersten
Leistungsklasse nächstes Jahr vor dem „Malleracer“ in acht nehmen müssen waren der
verdiente Lohn für diese tolle Leistung.
Nichts anbrennen lies Marko Klein im ZAWOTEC-Unlimited X-Bow. Souveräne 2
Polepositions und 2 Laufsiege zeigten auf, dass er der verdiente „österreichische
Staatsmeister“ in der höchsten Klasse ist. Ebenso eindrücklich die Siegfeier des Teams,
es war ersichtlich, dass sich das Team bis aufs letzten Haar für Ihre überragende Leistung
einsetzt.

Ebenso eindrücklich stellte Jürgen Daum im COOL-DOWN Porsche sein können unter
Beweis. Ein Steigerungslauf vom 4. Platz im ersten Rennen, einem Stockerlplatz im
zweiten Rennen sowie den Sieg im 1h-Rennen zusammen mit Sebastian Grunert waren
die erfolgreiche Bilanz des Wochenendes. Jürgen Daum hat in den letzten beiden
Wertungsläufen in Brünn nun die Möglichkeit seine erste Rennsaison bereits auf dem
Podium zu beenden.

Das Team Zawotec mit den Fahrern Marko Klein und dem Teamchef Mario Wolf sowie
das Team ALL-SPORTS mit den Fahrern Sebastian Grunert, Jürgen Daum und deren
Teamchef Didi Zuber haben eindrücklich bewiesen, dass sie in dieser Saison das Mass
aller Dinge sind. Beide Mannschaften und deren Teammitglieder haben auf der
Rennstrecke eine souveräne Visitenkarte der gemeinsamen, erfolgreichen
Zusammenarbeit abgegeben.
Saisonabschluss mit den Läufen elf und zwölf wird am 6. und 7. Oktober auf dem
Rundkurs von Brünn, Tschechien sein.

Las modélicas instalaciones del Circuito de karting de La Manga acogían este pasado fin de semana la quinta prueba de la popular Copa Vallés, que milita junto al Campeonato de Karting de la Región de Murcia. En ella tomaba parte el piloto balear Miguel Socías, quien sacaba buen partido a la experiencia que tiene el equipo de La Manga Go Racing, capitaneado por Ángel Sáez en el circuito de casa.

El piloto de la Escudería Mallorca Competició se encontró muy a gusto con la pista y la preparación de su kart AVK desde los mismísimos entrenamientos, en los que estuvo rodando en todo momento en los puestos de cabeza. En los cronometrados oficiales de la categoría Cadete marcaría el segundo mejor tiempo a siete milésimas del "poleman".

En la primera carrera el mallorquín le tocaba salir por la parte sucia del trazado murciano y era sorprendido en la salida por el tercer clasificado que pasaría a encabezar el pelotón, Socías intentaba por activa y pasiva recuperar su puesto, pero la batalla por la victoria estaba perdida, sus principales rivales en el certamen se lo pusieron imposible. A pesar de ello el piloto de PPB marcaba la vuelta rápida y ello le permitiría salir primero en la segunda carrera.

La segunda contienda sería prácticamente un calco de la primera, Socías perdía la primera posición de nuevo en la salida y era alcanzado una vez más por Rodríguez y Villaescusa que mantendrían un frenético duelo por la victoria mientras que el piloto campaneter sería el único en seguir el alto ritmo de cabeza. Presionó en varias ocasiones al segundo, pero finalmente acabaría en el tercer escalón del podio.

Al finalizar la carrera Miguel Socías nos comentaba:

"Ha sido una lástima no poder estar más arriba, el kart iba fenomenal, los mecánicos habían acertado los reglajes, pero tanto Rodríguez como Villaescusa, me lo han puesto muy difícil, ambos me han superado y han mantenido un ritmo demoledor. He podido estar con ellos, pero me ha sido imposible superarlos. Por otro lado me voy satisfecho con el resultado alcanzado hemos subido al cajón en dos ocasiones, además de marcar las dos vueltas rápidas, lo que nos permite seguir vivos en la lucha por el campeonato, que se decidirá en el "meeting" doble el próximo mes de noviembre en Finestrat."

PRESENTACIÓN POR TODO LO ALTO EN SEAT AMCARS

Esta tarde hemos asistido a la presentación de la segunda edición del Rallye Vall de Sant Pere que se celebrará los próximos días 24 y 25 de septiembre. El acto ha tenido lugar en las instalaciones de SEAT Amcars y ha estado presidido por D. Miquel Ensenyat, alcalde de Esporles, D. Martí Serra, jefe de ventas de Amcars, D. Rafael Ferragut, presidente de la FAIB y D. Arnau Bisquerra, presidente de la Escudería Mallorca Competició.

Numerosos aficionados se han dado cita para conocer como será esta segunda edición de una jovencísima prueba que esta llamada a ser una de las mejores del regional de rallyes. La carrera dará inicio el sábado día 24 a las 10:30 horas y la primera sección constará de dos pasadas por los tramos de Sa Figuera-Fornalutx (7,9 kms) y el Coll de Sóller (9,85 kms), para acabar en Esporles a las 13:32 horas donde se efectuará el parque de asistencia.

La segunda sección dará inicio a las 16:00 y estará formada por tres especiales, Esporles-Puigpunyent (8 kms), Galilea-Capdellà (6,2 kms) y Calvia-Coll de Sa Creu (13,4 kms) en las que se pasarán en tres ocasiones, para acabar la primera etapa sobre las 21:39 horas en la plaza junto al Bar Deportiu de Esporles.

La segunda etapa se disputará el domingo por la mañana en el Circuito Renn Arena de Llucmajor donde se efectuarán tres pasadas a una superespecial de 3,2 kilómetros diseñada sobre el trazado actual, pero con algunas modificaciones. De esta manera el rallye se reanudará a las 9:30 horas y está previsto que finalice sobre las 11:30 horas.

En el transcurso de la presentación también se ha dado a conocer la lista de inscritos que está formada por 47 equipos de los que 9 corresponden a la modalidad de Regularidad y 38 a la de Competición batiéndose el récord de participantes de esta temporada y también de la primera edición.

En el Rallye Vall de Sant Pere estarán presentes los equipos punteros de nuestra Comunidad Autónoma y la lucha por el campeonato se presenta muy interesante. Así Carlos Pérez encabeza la clasificación provisional, aunque está seguido muy de cerca por David García y Julián Gómez. Habrá que tener en cuenta a Dani Lozano, José Martorell y Lorenzo Andreu que a buen seguro pugnarán por la victoria.
